The July 2021 floods in Europe and the climate crisis — a statement by members of Scientists for Future
Finde here the recent statement by Scientists for Future on the recent floodings that hit large parts of western Europe and its relation with the climate crisis.

Due to a warmer atmosphere, there is a decrease in days with light precipitation and an increase in heavy rainfall events. The total amount of global precipitation is determined by the evaporation rate, which increases less than the heavy rainfall events.
